In the subsequent paragraphs you will delve into the recipe and how to prepare it with a basic step-by-step break down for simpler understanding and execution.

What you need is some Kombucha culture, 70 to 100 grams of white sugar for every liter of water, 2 tablespoons of either black or green tea per every liter of water. You also need a pot capable of boiling of up to 4 liters of water, glass container with a 2 to 4 liter volume, several bottles, some rubber bands and a clean piece of cotton.

To begin with, start by preparing tea as usual. Boil a mixture of water and the preferred tea or tea bags. Strain the resultant mixture then add between 70 to 100 grams of sugar. Stir the sugar until it has dissolved all of it. Leave it to cool off and then pour it into a glass jar. Pour the liquid into a container ensuring that you wrap it tightly but leave some breathing space.

Mix the active culture into a liter of warm water. Add green, white or black tea into this mixture and leave for a few minutes. Once you have done this, mix about 50 grams of sugar and stir well until all of it has mixed. Strain the mixture to remove the tea leaves and then place into a container. Once you have poured the mixture into the container, seal it off tightly allowing some space for it to breathe, but also making sure that no dust or contaminants can enter into it. Leave it to ferment for a week or so then serve the mixture in clean glasses.

Let the mixture cool then latter on pour it into a glass. In the event that its your first time to brew it, add the liquid you had first derived containing the culture. Place this mixture with the live Kombucha into the container. Cover the lid of the container tightly so as to protect it from any contamination.

Key benefits associated with this drink include boosting of the immune system, cancer prevention, improved digestion, and improved liver efficiency among others. It is clear that with a Kombucha recipe, anyone wishing to prepare this drink can do so with so much ease.
